Hello all!

So i have a patient that is receiving an injection into the AC joint and the lateral acromion? I know to use 20605 for the AC joint, but i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for what code to use for the acromion injectin?

Lateral acromion? did he inject bone, soft tissue, tendon ?
if all else fails my new fav code is 96372
 
i don't know for sure, all the note says is lateral acromion as well as the ac joint. but the dx is biceps tendonitis with impingement... so i already have to talk to them about the diagnosis. the charges they put in were 20605 and 20550.. i've never used the 96372 before, what do you use it for mostly?
 
Okay, so I just talked to the PA and he said it's an injection into the deltoid insertion. Thank goodness I ran into him! Thank you for your help!
