The guidelines on these codes are very vague. They just state that the activity e-codes are not to be used with poisonings, adverse effects, misadventures, or late effects. If that means to use them along with every other e-code then why only under the e927 category does it state to use an additional code to identify an activity? Should I be using activity codes with all e-codes except for poisonings, adverse effects, misadventures, or late effects as the guidelines state? Or should I be using activity codes with only category e927 as the back of the book states? :confused:
