Hi,

How do we bill and what codes do we use to bill extended time of service. For example, if service is given by the provider for 45 minutes in one session without re-insertion of needles then how do we bill for that extra 30minutes? We can use 97810 and 97813 only once a day for 1st 15minutes. How to bill for other 30minutes?

Can someone please guide me with this?

97810 is for the first 15 minutes of acupuncture without electrical stimulation, then use code 97811 for each additional 15 minutes of acupuncture without electrical stimulation.
