Does anyone know if Acupuncturists can bill for E/M codes? I know that in the "Principles of Coding" book and in the "CPT" book there is verbage that says that they can bill an E/M codes if a seperate and identifiable issue is identified. Several other coders in my office disagree. They say that Acupuncturists are not allowed to bill E/M codes. HELP!!!:confused:
