Can someone direct me to an authoritative cite that addresses the fact that add on codes were already valued as secondary procedures and therefore not subject to multiple procedure reduction.

look up specific code at cms.gov under physician fee schedule and find multiple procedure indicator.
then go to www.highmarkmedicare.com under medicare physician fee schedule indicator descriptions for multiple procedure indicator.
