Wiki Addendum to a Medical Progress Note

I have a question regarding addenda and/or amendments to a medical progress note. If a clinician wrote a note that contains an error, but the clinician is no longer with the practice, is that clinician's supervisor able to attach an addendum to the original note correcting the error?
