When exactly can you bill for modifier 22? Help!
 
Modifier 22

Modifier 22 is used when a physician provides a service that is greater than the usual.

For example: A procedure that would normally take 30 minutes took a surgeon 75 minutes.

In this case you woud append the modifier22 to the code for the procedure.
