If a physician performed "Arthrodesis, posterior or posterolateral technique, single level; thoracic (with lateral transverse technique, when performed)" 22610 and then continued to do additional levels on the thoracic and lumbar areas, can we also code 22612 for the first lumbar level, or does it need to be 22614?
 
You would not code 22612, you would code 22614 for additional level especially if through one incision and they are one right after another.
