Adjusting (not Replacing) Gastrostomy Tube?

I'm trying to code an encounter where the Dr. was apparently considering replacing a PEG tube, but ended up recommening that it not be replaced. He did cut off part of it that appeared to be deteriorating, and reattached the adapter.

43760 "Change of gastrostomy tube, percutaneous, w/out imaging" is the closest I can seem to come, but the tube wasn't actually replaced, so it doesn't seem right.

Any suggestions?
