Are you allowed to code for an administration of a free vaccine?
 
Yes - Such as H1N1 you can bill to administer the drug not for the vaccine itself. If a patient provides the vaccine such as Depo you can also charge adminitration.

For sure...when coding oncology/chemo infusions, we had patients who were on studies where the medication was provided free (by the study) - we were able and did indeed charge for the administration...GO FOR IT!
