Greetings
I've always heard that when a patient is admitted and lets say they have a headache and are admitted as IP as their being worked up the final diagnosis is brain tumor, that you would use the final diagnosis and not headache for the time during the workup. I believe this information is somewhere on the Medicare website and wondering what others are doing and if they know where this information is?
