I know when our doctors do caths at the hospital it is a day surgery and you do not bill an admit code but what if it is a patient that was admitted with symptoms, my doctor admits him, and consequently ends up doing the cath and stent, can I code the observation admit code? Any help would be appreciated!!!:)Of course I would need to add 25 modifier?

Yes, you can charge the appropriate E&M code, just add mod 25 to it. Hope that helps :)
