Patient delivered in the ER and admitted after for post partum care.

How would this senario be coded for the in-patient side? V24.0 with no additional procedures or does this get coded starting with the ER visit which would include the delivery CPT/ICD-9-CM procedure code with the delivering ER physician as provider and a 650 diagnostic code?
