Hi~

Please help!!!

A patient was seen in the office for a post-operative appointment after a lap appy. This was within the 90 day post-op period, however, the wasn't feeling well so the Dr. admitted him into the hospital for diarrhea.

My question is can a charge an E*M code for this? If so do I need a modifier 24?
