Adverse reaction to a drug taken correctly.

I need help using the drug table. We had a patient come to the E.R. after taking sudafed for an URI. The documentation stated after taking it for a couple days she started having SOB. The documentation did not state that she took the medication incorrectly. My thinking is that I would code the SOB and use the E code for therapeutic use. I just wanted to make sure that I should not also be using the 900 code for poisoning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
