Hello,
I am looking for any assistance that can be offered with billing allergy elixirs that are sent to the office from the elixir company and billed to the patient's insurance.
We are having a hard time deciding how and when and the quantity to bill on these?

If you are not mixing the vials you should not be billing for them. You would bill only for the injection.

The company mixing should be directly billing the patient/ insurance.

Thanks for the response. I did not explain our part in the administration very well. We order the pre-mixed elixir and the company that mixes them bills us for the elixir and then we administer. We have been billing 95165 and just not sure this is correct.
