Can you bill for a patients serum seperately from their allergy shot even though there is not an encounter with the patient for the serum? It seems it would be eligible to do since its fulfulling a "supply". Would be similiar to if you were ordering an item and they are billing it for the date they filled the order. Hopefully that makes sense. This isnt against medicare or a commercial payors guidelines either do you think?
