We have a patient coming to our urgent care/ family practice for allergy shots, injecting the shots ONLY. We use 4 separate syringes for the injections, can I code for the syringes and who does that get billed to. I also code the 95117, do I bill anything else? I've looked, but I don't believe so b/c we did not mix the allergns, we just injecting her with them.
Thanks for any help.

You are only able to bill out the 95117 which is the multiple allergy injection code. You are not able to bill out for the syringes or a 99211 because the 95117 is included in the nurse visit E&M.
