Wiki Allergy Testing Codes

Good morning, I was just told by a BCBS rep that CPT codes 95004, 95024 & 95044 are deleted codes for Allergy Testing as of 1/2/2023. Can someone tell me if this is correct information? And if so, what are the replacement codes?

All of these codes are in my current CPT book, AND they all show as active codes on EncoderPro.

I bill for allergy and all those codes are current and active. I have been billing and getting our claims processed. You may have the insurance company ask for records.

Thank you so much for your help!!!! May I bother you with another question? So Aetna keeps denying 95165 saying we have to bill a modifier or admin code along with it. Are you running into any problems?

We have not ran into that problem that I am aware of. I know Aetna in TN only allows 150 units the first year and 90 units thereafter.
