Hi, we have recently started to do readings for ambulatory EEG's done on patients at home. Patient's are set up by a vendor and sent home with a fanny pack and monitor and can have the EEG monitoring anywhere from 24-72 hours. Someone checks in with them everyday and they have an 800# they can call for any questions. We have been coding as 95953-26. Sometimes there is video involved and the patient has an additional monitor with a camera that connects to the same fanny pack. We have been coding as 95951-26. Recently we read some documentation that said all unattended ambulatory EEG's with or without video should be coded as 95953-26. Can anyone please clarify this since there is no mention of video in 95953. Thanks
