Hello - I am trying to find out if Amnioinfusion without and ultrasound can be billed. All I can find is 59070 for Amnioinfusion w/US. This would not be done during labor. It would be a bedside procedure done by a nurse at a hospital during an OB visit. Any help is appreciated!

I don't have an answer to your question, but we have some knowledgeable OB/GYN coders here, so hopefully it will be answered.

BUT, are you saying they did the amnioinfusion without an ultrasound?
That scares me. I had my first amnio procedure when I was 8 months pregnant and seeing the ultrasound helped me to be less freaked out.
