I've just started coding amputation and could really use some help. I see where the patients are taken to the OR and have an amputation and then return a few weeks later for a standard posterior flap below the knee amputation. I would love for someone to email me personally so I can get a better understanding on how to code these. This is confusing because the patient already had an amputation and now returns with flap???:):)
