Typically in Pennsylvania Medical Assistnace doesn't pay for ANE services for patients over 21. Does anyone know of a modifier or code for that we could use for an extremem case? We had a patient who was a major trauma and in surgery for almost 24 hours due to injuries. I really don't want to adjust off this charge. Can anyone help?
