I have a non-anesthesiologist MD that works in PICU and administers anesthesia (versed, ketamine and propofol) to pediatric pts for procedures (Echos, Lumbar Punctures, bone marrow aspirations, etc). I am having a hard time finding a modifier that I can use for these services performed by an MD. I have used QS, but the insurance denies stating, 'need other modifier primary'. Please help!!

thanks in advance.

You need to verify if the non-anesthesiologist MD is providing Anesthesia or Moderate or Deep Sedation. Which if it is Moderate Sedation there are separate billable codes if the documentation supports it.
