Can an internal medicine physician, specialty 11, bill using code 00810?
 
We have ER and hospitalists billing anesthesia codes. Our only problem is that Iowa Medicaid will not pay the anesthesia codes to Non Anesthesiologist. They say they are following CMS but we cannot find a CMS rule that says only and Anesthesiologist can bill anesthesia codes.
