Does anyone know if the angiography cpt codes are subject to the multiply surgery rule with Medicare. Example: If you bill 36226 (50) and 36224(50) do they reduce the payment for one. The were both billed Bilaterally

Yes they are subject to the multiple payment policy indicator of 2. If you are reporting both codes together on the same claim, you would report it,

36226-50
36224-50,51

** Also, make sure you are reporting the number of units on both claims as only 1. (CMS guidelines)
