Can any one tell me the CPT Code the ankle-brachial index (ABI).Doppler (ultrasound stethoscope) Inflating cuffs are placed on arms and legs, the technician positions the Doppler at a 45-degree angle to three arteries: 1) dorsalis pedis; 2) posterior tibia; and 3) brachial of the right and left sides.
Medicare LCD manual reports ABIs are not separately reimbursable. The only thing that the tech did was measure the blood preasure in the ankles.[/COLOR
How would code for this?
Thank,
AJ
