When a patient returns to the office after they've delivered for their post-partum visit & an annual is performed is this considered billable or global? *Please note we did provide all the antepartum care & delivery.

I believe that if the annual is done within 6 weeks after delivery it is considered global and will most likely not be paid by insurance. My doctors have try that on occasion and we bill it but the claim always get denied.
