If someone came in for their annual v72.31 and also had labs would it be correct to link the labs to the v72.31 if that is the only diag.?

forgot to ask if they came in for an anual exam would v70.0 cover a pap?
 
V72.31 says to use additional code for the pap - they refer to V76.47 - personally, I've never used that code - we usually use the V70.0 for our routine preventive codes and V76.2 for our routine pap :)
