Wiki annual medication review and wellness exam

Does anyone know if annual medication review and refill can be considered a preventive/wellness visit? The patient has chronic conditions for the medications they are on so nothing is screening. The patient has their female health exam done at another facility.

I don't believe so. Medication review can be part of a wellness exam, however. If a wellness exam was not performed it shouldn't be coded as such. This one sounds more like an E/M visit.
