When billing he AWV for Medicare are providers supposed to use the ZOO code or sick codes for suspect conditions that are being assessed but not treated?

Z00.00 with no findings, Z01.01 if findings with additional code for any of the findings. The sole focus should be preventive, and planning, otherwise depending on documentation it may not meet the AWV requirements, and a different type of E&M code for acute symptoms may be more appropriate.

Z00.01 should be used instead of Z01.01 if conditions are found.(Z00.01+findings)
Z01.01 is for eye and vision segment only.
