What consist of an AWV, our practice uses a specific template for our providers to use during an AWV but there are times when they don't use it and we noticed they dont speak on risk factors , no depression/fall screenings/assessments, no mentioned of any advance directives . Can you still code it and bill it as an AWV G code?

Help :/

Someone posted a very good article on OBGYN forum some time ago. You might wish to use search in that forum to pull lots of information about preventive care and AWV. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question.

So I have a question on the same topic of AWV and Preventive service for Medicare advantage plans. I was advised that we can bill the Medicare G0438 - G0439 codes and the 99381 - 99397, what are your thoughts?

Yes, some MA plans will pay for an AWV and a preventive visit. Will they pay them on the same DOS? Maybe yes, maybe no.
