I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me. Without a lot of detail, our physician performed on a trauma patient an anterior arthrodsisis c2-c3 and open treatment/reduction of fracture. Is there a code for an open treatment/reducton of a cervical fracture below C2 for anterior approach?

A lot of times, they do a corpectomy when they have to treat an anterior fracture. If he did a corpectomy, look at the corpectomy codes, (63081, 63082). If he did not do a corpectomy you may have to consider using a miscellaneous code.
