We have LPNs see patients on warfarin for point of care PT/INR testing, and dosing changes. Other than 99211, is there another CPT code that would allow billing without a copay? 80-90% of the patients are on FFS Medicare or on a Medicare Advantage program. It is harder to get patients to do the in-office service (which has better outcomes and fewer mishaps) due to the copay. Going to the lab has no copay, but introduces a lag, usually of 1 business day.
