What code do I use to bill the physician side of Apheresis in the hospital setting?
 
My coding software does not show that an Apheresis has a professional and technical component. What do you mean by hospital setting? Is the specimen collected from a venous access device or catheter?

I believe the code for Apheresis for physician services is 36514 (plasma pheresis).
