Wiki Appeal 33697 when denied with 33926?

Has anyone successfully appealed the denial of TOF repair 33697 for being a component service of Unifocalization 33925/6? The CCI edit bundling these codes was removed in 2007. The paranthetical language in CPT 2006 that said not to bill these together, that was removed from CPT 2007. Does anyone know why payers are still denying TOF repair with unifocalization?
