Does anyone have APRN or PA's doing procedure 38241-Bone marrow or blood derived peripheral stem cell transplant; autologous? Our Medicare carrier denies our claims for this provider type and cannot give me any guidelines that show this:) service cannot be performed by an APRN or PA. If you are getting paid for this procedure by Medicare for these providers would you let me know.
