Hello,
I am reading conflicting information about whether Medicare considers pharmacists in a physician office to be NPP for the purpose of incident-to billing. I do know pharmacists either can't bill E/M or bill only low-level E/M depending on the state for Medicaid, but what about Medicare? Can a pharmacist bill E/M and if not, can the physician bill incident-to for pharmacist evaluation of medication? Is this any different in Texas? If someone can provide a link to a CMS/Medicare resource which confirms it, it will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
