Patient who is 7 day post c-section with an irritated incision site. Patient being seen in the clinic by another physician in the same group practice as the delivering physician. Can this physician bill for her services since she was not the physician who did the c-section or provided the pre natal care. The delivering Dr. was on vacation. Please advise. Thanks for the help.
 
If the physician who performed the c-section and the physician who evaluated her incisional site are in the same practice and bill under the same tax ID, then no. It will still be considered gloabl.
