I am new to Neurosurgery coding with little to no training :( Very frustrating.

When my doctors excise a brain tumor their description of the location never matches up with the CPT locations, and I am having a heck of a time trying to match them up. Does anyone have any suggestions????

The one I have here today the doctor says he "cut a flap based on the superior sinus exposing the frontal gyrus that had the tumor", and CPT is listing things like infratentorial, posterior fossa, meningioma, ect...

I guess any help would be appreciated greatly!
Thanks,
