Patient has multiple fistula attempts performed for hemodialysis, and provider says patient has 'arterial steal syndrome' following creation of upper arm fistula. How would I code this. If I go in the Index and follow; Syndrome, Steal, it does not have an option for Arterial. It has one for arteriovenous. Would it be correct to go to the arteriovenous code?
