Hello,

When a physician gains access via the right femoral artery and performs road mapping angiography of the aorta, then selects the SMA and celiac arteries to inject a calcium stimulant and at the same time..

He/she gains access via the right internal jugular vein twice (two separate accesses) with the catheters ending up in the left hepatic vein and the main right hepatic vein where blood samples are taken after calcium stimulant injection at 0, 30, 60 and 120 seconds.

Would you recommend coding the catheter placements in the SMA and Celiac arteries 36245 X 2 and 36500-50-59 with 75893 or just the vein sampling codes 36500-50 and 75893?

Thanks for you input on this. :)
