Do We Need A Modifier 52 On 29826 For 1-03-08 Sx?

I think would depend on the circumstances. Did your doctor do a lot less work than normal for an acromioplasty? Why did the pt have to have it done again - more formation of spurs, etc? If he's actually doing an acromioplasty, I wouldn't think you'd have to use a 52.
