Wiki ASC BILLING QUESTION FOR NERVE BLOCK CODE 64447

Anyone coding and billing for an ASC that can please help answer my question?

We are an ASC where the patient had a TKR (27447) and also a nerve block for post operative pain management (64447). Can anyone tell me if the billing of these two codes in combination are appropriate billing?

Again, this is strictly for billing of the facility.

If the surgeon performed the block, it's bundled.

Orthopedist did the TKR. Anesthesiologist did the pain block. We understand the anesthesiologist can bill this however, my question is for billing the facility.
