i bill for an asc, everytime i look up a drug to see if it is billable in the hcpcs book, normally it is an N1 status indicator which means no separate payment is made. Of the few drugs i have tried to bill that were not N1 status, we still have never been paid by commercial carriers. I have not tried billing drugs to Medicare.
