Hi: Can you bill for a assistant surg when the doctor ends up aborting the procedure and you are using mod 53?? Pt was under anesthesia and dissection of artery and exploration was done but due to the severity of vessel and plaque no carotid endarterectomy could be done.

I can not find a answer to this question so hoping someone can assit me! :p
