Has anyone else been noticing denials (mod 80) for assists with colon procedures?

Can you share any specific CPT codes that are being denied? Are the codes being billed by the asistant surgeon eligible for an assist and is the assistant surgeon billing for the same code as the primary surgeon?
 
We are getting a denial for the assist fee for cpt 44205....The assist surgeon is a general surgeon and is assisting with the colon procedure. Both of the surgeons have stated that an assist is necessary to help hold/pull the colon.
