On one of my doc's audits he mentioned history of asthma and allergies. so we were told we should code as 493.00.
It looks like the 493.00 is asthma due to allergies, but thats is not what my doc wrote.

I normally code asthma and allergies as two separte diagnosis which are 493.** and 477.*
am I wrong?
