My vascular surgeon did an anterior exposure for Neurosurgeon to do an ALIF. Once exposure was achieved, it was determined there was to much scar tissue to proceed from that position. My surgeon then closed the exposure and Neurosurgeon proceeded independently with posterior approach. Any help with what I should bill for my vascular surgeon? I was thinking 22830.
