Physician attempted papsmear but due to intact hymenal ring and never being sexually active ar using tampons could not complete the pap- how should we code the attempted pap smear?

E/M charges for attempted Pap
Well after doing further research and talking to the Physician she was not even able to use the speculum- since nothing was physically done, she can not code and "Pap" codes- the visit will just be E/M Prventative medicine visit based on New or Est PT. So if anyone else comes across this issue...there you go
